Hello everyone
After a walkthrough meeting with Nucca and Covey last night we worked out a plan for the mod clinic on Sunday Sept. 10 at Nucca's house in Davenport. More to follow on addresses and directions.
To make sure we are able to make mods for everyone that attends (we are limited to 5 people becuase of space) we have come up with the following.
In order to introduce the art of modding an MJ powerhead we are going to focus on one single method of doing the mod. In order to insure everyonecan get their mods complete we will not be able to do much if any experimenting on the proven methods. Possibly in the future we can have another session for experimental more advanced ideas. Thanks for your understanding on this.
OK....so here is how its going to work.......
1) Each person must supply either a MJ1200 or a MJ900.
It is recomended that you use a new MJ as it is a known fact that used ones don't seem to perform nearly as well.
2) We will supply the remaining needed parts for the mods including Custom made shrouds, shafts, props, and centering end caps. The cost for these
pieces are 15.00 per mod.
3) We are also going to work on some mounts made from magnetic tank cleaners.
We will be supplying some additional parts for the mounts such as acrylic balls and nylon tension screws.YOU WILL NEED TO SUPPLY THE MAGNETIC CLEANER. PLEASE MAKE SURE THE MAGNETIC CLEANER IS OF THE LARGE SIZE.
4) As stated above we have room for 5 people to participate in this event and each person can do up to 2 mods. We will except the first 5 people who sign up by paying the 15.00 per mod through paypal to einsteins@einsweb.com
The costs are not marked up at all and we have done everything possible to keep the cost down and still be able to make the mods in a single afternoon.
When sending payment please include info on how many mods you are going to make, and what size MJ(s) you are going to be doing your mod on. Please include if you want to make a mount also. This info will allow us to make sure we have the proper pieces prepared for everyone.
The first 5 people to pay via paypal will be the ones accepted!
This should be a fun afternoon and everyone will leave knowing how to make any future mods they might want or need.
Please post any questions here on this thread....REMEMBER....FIRST COME FIRST SERVED, so get your payment in quick!
Hope to see you there.....
