I think it had a lot to do with my tank being bare bottom- she was fine sleeping under the rocks for many months but I think someone or something pushed her too far one night and she didnt have the security of the sand that you have

I love deepwater basslets. Can't bring myself to pay $750 for one. All pets had a Swales basslet in the other day, that was mislabled as something else. I had to do a double take. Had it been a candy, would have won the lottery. Beautiful fish. Where did you get it?
