For me..

Achilles Tang

Runner up is Sohal Tang

Honestly I think that the yellow tang and reagal tang are much more attractive. I think we have just seen them so many times that we have forgotten. LOL. Seriously though the black tang (as rare as it is) doesn't even come close to the yellow tang. IMO if they were to outlaw the export of fish from Hawaii they yellow tang could easily fetch thousands of dollars if not tens of thousands.

I love these threads.

I'll probably put a vote in for the Clown Tang in my top 3, and just to stir things up, i'll have to say that clown tangs are superior to sohal tangs in appearance except for the streamers on large sohals. Sohals are like colourless clowns, except they got two orange markings near the pectoral fins and scapel.

Anyone care to add to this ? ?

I just LOVE tangs! I have the following in my 500 gallon...Black Tang, Achilles Tang, Orange Shoulder Tang, Chevron Tang, Hawaiian Naso Tang with streamers, Maculiceps and the Fowleri Tang.

My top 3 would be...

AUSTRALIAN Dussumieri (not the Hawaiian version)
Achilles Tang
Orange Shoulder-Adult (the most under rated tang imo)
