The most beautiful tang

I'd go with a Clown Tang for my #1. Probably will never have a tank big enough for one though.

I would have to go with the Achilles(the bright orange has a nice contrast), Yellow Bellied Blue Hippo Tang(the blue is much brighter than the normal species with a yellow contrast), then I would have to go with Naso(the brown body brings out the other colors really well). Too bad I can't have them right now.

i forgot about the Clown Tang. Ooo la la. That is one gorgeous fish. I think of the clown tang being to clowns as the clown trigger is to triggers. Risky business in a tank.

That's not a hybrid, just a regional variant. Luiz mentioned it in one of his posts a while back. Apparently they're found off of Christmas Island. He's mentioned it other places that I can't find right now, but apparently it was possibly an infection of some kind given their scales flaked off on contact...

I thought of this fish when I was in this thread, but I thought we were talking about standard fish, not abberants If we are talking about not the normal colors fish come in, then I too agree that this clown tang is one of the most amazing looking tangs I've ever seen.

i am a huge fan of the dusermeri tang <--- i probably butchered that spelling. I have always liked the Achilles tangs too, but they seem to troublesome to keep.

That is probably the most Drop-Dead Gorgeous PBT I've ever seen ( The pic at top of this page). The colors are so intense & vibrant. Its a blooming shame that they aren't suited for medium sized Reef tanks. Like mine.. <sigh>

Thank you. I seem to get a lot of positive comments on this fish, it is beautiful to me but it's the only PBT I've ever kept so it just looks normal to me. Has a pretty good temperament too, the only time it ever seems to show any aggression is when a new fish is added or when it's had enough of the rabbitfishes posing :lolspin: It gets along well with the Mimic Tang, which is the only other Tang in the tank, also a beautiful fish
