Hello. Since I have seen many posts asking how to keep anemones and other marine inhabitants from getting sucked up through the beloved powerhead, I have decided to share with you how to make a powerhead cover that actually works. It is a way better way to protect your tank inhabitants is way better than pantyhose, and it does not rob any power from your powerhead. I might be able to do custom builds, but the covers for the powerheads that have the long intake tube (ie: MaxiJet 1200) are more readily available.
