Nice!

For some reason I dont think we'll be seeing the quintessential owner/child/pet standing in the empty tank pic :D

maybe it's the lighting or the camera, but fliger's tank looks a bit yellow/green compared to starphire. nice tank nonetheless.

Can't wait to see the tank on the stand. I had a similar experience getting my tank. It is the most frustrating part of setting up a new system. I don't know why it is so hard find a good tank.

here she is all unwrapped and pretty, an the stand the doors will be complete by this week and we should have water in by this week end we are transferring a 40 gallon that has been established for 4 years into this tank any pointers on the move??? i have new cured rock out in a bin in the garage that has been curing for almost 2 months with a skimmer i was thinking about letting the tank circulate for a couple of days to settle then transferring everything form the 40 over? what do you think?

Looks great man. I like when the tank is sitting on a larger platform. More space to put things down or even books or smth. Makes it more part of the house then just a lonely fish tank in a corner.

Today i just finished my transfer,..actually going the opposite way, from larger tank to smaller. I filled up the system 70 with water and sandbed. Let it sit overnight and today i just moved everything straight across. Fish, lps, sps, shrimp, snails, everything. Grab from one tank throw in the other. I did do all tests before on the new tank, amonia, nitrite, nitrate, copper (just because), alk, ca, magnesium and ph. All similar to my older bigger tank. Temp too.

So i dont know if i really messed up or not yet,..i guess we will wait and see...

If my corals all die in the next few days then you know what not to do :)

Very nice sys,If i can do it again when i started i would have saved all my pennies and had bought one.Already thinking of my next sys and would dif be something like the Elos but alot bigger.
