Hey folks. After much work, I am happy to announce the New & Improved COMAS Website. The address has not changed. But there is much more to offer with the new site.

   http://www.mycomas.com

Check things out, create yourself a user account. (Please create one with the same username as you use on Reef Central, if possible, pretty please). And enjoy.

Also, feel free to email webmaster@mycomas.com with any comments, suggestions, etc. Thanks!!!

Looks great Paul. Clean and easy to use...just the way a site should be. Design is very good looking.

Can you tell me a little about joomla? Is it easy to learn?

Wow, that is a really impressive website. I would love to know who built it. Wow, Wow, Wow!!! I am really glad that is has obvioulsy been done professionally. It will help others to recognize the seriousness of the club's commitment.

Step back Travis! I can see Paul T's head getting bigger, it's gunna POP!

I know Paul has been working on this for a long time and I know the hours and level of commitment he has put into this. I know 'cos he kept bugging me to check it and test it as he went.

Bear in mind that this is the skeleton of the new site. There will be a lot more added as time and enthusiasm permits. We hope to have many articles in here as well as a comprehensive overhaul and updating of the frag program such that it will become web based.

Please take time to look through it, find typos and send us critiques.

Again, without the help of the members, the website will not fulfill its potential.

We are hoping that this site forms a portal for new members to find us and hopefully join COMAS.

Once agian, Paul-T.....outstanding job, extremely professional.

Couldn't agree more with Paul W. on this, very very very well done Paul T. I look forward to the progression this will take our club.

Thank you all - I am glad to finally get the new site live. As mentioned, I have been working on this for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time.

And if I get off my lazy bum and get some more work done on it, there will be SO much more in store... Stay tuned!!! :) ;) :D

Again I repeat, feel free to send me a PM or email (webmaster@mycomas.com) with any thoughts, etc, on IMPROVING the new site....

I did notice a typo:

Reef Shots - Photo of the Month Contest

The Reef Shots is a monthly competition where COMAS members can enter a picture of their tank, or that of Aanother COMAS members tank.

I didn't want to be critical though. But at least this proves I read it all.

I wanted to let you know about a new facet of the website.

On the sponsors page is a box (on the left) and in that box are links to blogs from the stores. Each store, that sponsors COMAS will use that blog space to keep you informed of developments going on, specials being ran and shipment dates etc....or anything else the store wahts to share.

So far ART has uploaded information and we are in the process of contacting the other vendors.

Go check it out.
