Some growth shots

Some growth shots

Not a lot of new info to post, ergo, I haven't updated the blog since the beginning of January. I thought I'd put up a few growth shots here along with some miscellaneous pics.

I will start putting fish back into the display next week. It's hard to believe that they've been out for seven weeks, but so far so good. They underwent four weeks of copper treatment and a week of Prazipro.

Anywho, on to the good stuff:

More good news!

More good news!

In addition to having all of the fish healthy and back in the display tank for the past week or so, I just got some more awesome news today:

You're only eligible to win the large ($10,000) Toyota TAPESTRY grant once every five years, so I thought I'd throw my hat in the ring for a mini grant ($2,500) from the folks at Toyota.

I just received notification today that I won!!!

This mini-grant is an extension of the current project where I'll incorporate web cams and have the kids create virtual field trips to our aquarium for students in other schools.

Although not as exciting as the initial rush of the first one, I'm still pretty jazzed about this!

I'm hoping to find some time tomorrow to put up some new pics of the display and fish.

Also, stay tuned for information on the open house, Friday March 27th! ;)

Congratulations. I remember you were talking about this when I dropped off the corals. I'm psyched to see everything in March.

Very cool Scott. Can't wait to see those frags hit the "critical mass" point and just explode with exponential growth :)
