The official WP40 running on controller thread.

OK, I am having a bit of an issue. I bought two of the RA Jebao cables and the Apex Variable cable. I have confirmed that the Apex is putting out 0-10v depending on what I am demanding. When I wire it to the RA cable I am only seeing 2.5v at 100% on the control lead and ~24v on the power lead.

I can not get my pumps to turn on at all... :(

Nevermind, figured it out. The red lead coming off the Apex Cable needed to be wired to the black lead coming off the RA cable and vice versa. A little counterintuitive.

BTW, this is VERY awesome.

Does anyone know of a local N.American source for these:
3x0.75 SQMM LED Light Strips 3 Pin Waterproof Connector Cable

also wondering if someone did in fact cop this part off of AliExpress and might pm me on the particulars: shipping times, et

Edit....found these looks like allegedly in America ...and just like the AliExpress buy, it requires a lot of 5> ...just not cost effective...

You can buy singles off both ebay and aliexpress. I bought mine off aliexpress. I did pick up the 5 lot and it was 3 weeks to get here. Bought my DC females and resistors off ebay. Trust me, worth every penny. I have mibe controlling 2 wp40's and I have a second cable made up to run my dc pump that should be delivered in a few days.

Edit: lol. Your aliexpress link is the same store I bought mine from...my feedback is there lol.

Someone stepped up here and offered me thier xtras for basically nothing...
I'll go back a re-read for the other parts/resistors, et et....(the Cat 5 cables I got)

....unsolicited babble but...
normally I'm not a fan of foreign patent violations, but gheez IMHO Vortechs and to a lesser extent; Tunzes were sorta priced beyond a normal markup over mfg cost...I'm thinking it was a supply/demand market forces thing (like Kessil pricing ALMOST the same light for double the price for Aquatics over Hydroponic versions)

basically Salt water enthusiast are willing to pay and Vortech/Tunze obliged...

I'm sorta laughing that these Sino-ripoffs will likely drive the prices down for this stuff

Like a dummy I ordered the wrong size connectors... Has anyone got the correct connector from eBay? I skeptical of aliexpress and would prefer eBay. Please post the link to what you ordered?

Thanks

I personally get mine from ali. I have done 20 orders through them on various things from clothes to electronics and never had an issue other then language barrier when asking questions. Keep in mind. ..the same stores on ebay are also the ones on ali

Actually speaking of that, tech-one-lee is the store on ali that I got mine from and the seller on that ebay link I just posted lol.

They actually made the new Jebao 2 pump controller that interfaces with their controller and it only took them a year to do it.

But what about the pumps that have reversed cabling? I have a jebao with one end (female) and a waveline on my rlss has the opposite end.

Seems that won't work well...

You still need a harness to control Jebaos. This APC for DA is a 0-10v and the jebao products are 0-5v

Digital Aquatics just release a cool new interface that can be used on any system with a 0-10v output. It is set up for 2 pumps and uses the power supply that comes with the pump. They are sending instructions on how to use it with other systems too.

That's great but you still have to spend $$ for the APC module. Couldn't you just use a JBWave http://joejaworski.com/jebao/buy.html on an outlet so you have standby capability or any other standard functionality like timers etc.? I don't work for JBWave but just looking for a logical setup for people like me that don't want to fuss with the wiring.

Fish Street Apex controller module/ cable

Fish Street Apex controller module/ cable

I am on the Fish Street news list. Just got notification of a control module for Apex that will interface with with all the Jebao wave makers and the DC pumps. It is listed on their website.
I think, from the information provided, you can control two wave makers with one cable/ module. Not sure as fish-street is always an adventure in translating their English. I use a Torx cable which performs flawlessly but I thought I would order one to see how it compares. Plus I think a DC pump is in my future.

Check it out.

I came across it as well today on accident actually :/ I guessed it would only a matter of time before a company saw the demand. Guess my soldering iron will get a break now. :/

All you wrote above is correct. 2 pumps per module. DC/WP/RW and Waveline.

The harness you have will also control Jebao WP/DC/RW and Waveline as well.

Yes, I have done it.
Evg card

Components all tucked away inside.

If you need more details let me know.
