A lot of reasons. LOL!! Simply put, I wasn't getting the color and detail in the corals I had hoped for. Just couldn't find the bulb choice that satisfied me.

Isn't this crazy? sunnyx swears by T5's and you swear by MH. I've had good luck with T5's myself and am now trying MH and for me the jury is still out for MH. I do love the shimmer but the colors are not there yet. it's only been like 2 months so far that's why i asked you that question. how long did you try T5's? were you dosing vodka and bacteria? I'm wondering if dosing these have a different effect whether you use MH or T5's. thoughts?
