The red bugs still aren't dead

Cancer Sucks
I finally found the interceptor pills Scott gave me at the auction and dosed 1/2 pill yesterday. After 6 hours there were still some bugs, so I didn't do a water change. This morning they were still there, so I dosed another 1/2 pill. Now, 6 hours later, there are still a few there. That's 1 whole "large dog" pill, and there are still red bugs. I'll let it run in there for a while and see what happens.

Well, it's 6:45, and I think they're gone. My cleaners and camel shrimps are all still alive, but the hermits are struggling. I don't see any effect on the different pods in the fuge.

Maybe a mandarin or sixline would help the situation. I don't want to be the negative one, but chances are that they're going to pop up again in a couple months.

I'm going to do the two follow up treatments next weekend and the weekend after, so that should do it.

Just my opinion, if your Pod's, crabs and shrimp are still alive so will some of the bugs. The longer they survive the treatments the more the survivors will be resistant to the treatment. I would take the shrimp out and super dose without water change till I could not find a bug for at least a week. Good luck, hope I never have to go through that.

That was my thought too John, but today after work, I don't see any red bugs, the hermits are definite goners, the camel shrimps in the fuge are dead, and I cant find a single cleaner shrimp, even when I feed. I think it worked. I'll do the follow up treatments over the next 2 weeks.

Hopefully you will be able to get rid of the things nothings worse than having bugs and not being able to get rid of them.
