The strangest thing!

I have an Acro frag I got about a month ago. I was looking at it tonight and I see a Zoo polyp growing in the branches. Anyone ever see this before? Do you think either one will have a bad affect on the other? Should I be taking some action? If so what?

Can't be good for the Acro. It'll likely lose the battle.

I'd seperate them.

I've had that too. The zoo's or button polyps were not colorful, but grew much faster than the acro obviously. they started to drown out the light getting to the base of the coral and it started to white out a little. Seeing that it was a blue tort, I pruned the polyps and had to do so from time to time as they grew back rather readily.

Get rid of them!
