Just got my 6100 streams in today. I never figured I'd get them this fast . Now I gotta put water in the tank to play with my new toys .

Roger,
In a 180 gallon tank , 6' x 2' x 2' what settings would you suggest ?
30 % and 100 % ?? I'm not sure which way would be best.

We are catching up on Streams pretty fast,especially since they are stocking me up while I am gone and for helping at Interzoo but afterwards my allocation will drop to catch up for Europe.

I have been waiting 4 1/2 weeks with no 6000's in sight. They are ordered through Champion via my LFS and nothin. They are saying another 2 weeks does this sound right?

6000's are the most behind. I will see what I can do. 6100 are close to caught up.

It's not Champions fault or your LFS's. I just can't get enough in and we were behind to begin with. I will see about getting some produced next week.

When my lacal fish store called Champion, they had the 6100's in stock. But it may be different now, guess it depends on how many they had.

Yep I had thought the 6100's were the really backorder ones, who knew. I guess I will have to be patient, like for everything else in reefing.............lol.

I ordered a 6100/single controller from Champion today. I expected to be put at the end of a long waiting list, but they said everything is in stock, except the 6000. Which was what I actually wanted, only they had no idea when to expect them. Figured I had better just snag a 6100 while it's available. I'm looking forward to using it!

That is discouraging. I just don't have the tank for one of those. I want to be able to use tide mode too. Can't do that with one stream.

Sometimes I get all 6100, sometimes all 6000. They sales rate for the two also fluctuates greatly so for a while we sell tons of 6100 and I order a greater volume and then the demand shifts. They also produce in runs so the 6100 boxes and transformers are there and that is what they are making that day. Give me aa few days to see what the production possibilities are like.

Brewboy74- They will make a run of 6000's for me next week. All the parts are in stock, expect it in about 3 weeks as it will take a week to get to me then a week to champion and then a week to you.

Hey Brewboy74, did you get your 6000's yet...? I know Roger is away, but does anyone know what is up with availability of 6000's at this time? I plan on pre-ordering this week, and was just wondering how long to expect to wait...?

Over the past week 50 have been sent to the US so it isn't going to leave a surplus but all backorders should be met soon.

Can you possibly tell me the best place to make my Tunze order at in order to possibly get some of these 6000's....? Premium Aquatics, Champion Lighting, Marine Depot...? Only you know how the 50 are being allocated...?

Are they back ordered to the extent that regardless of these allotment of 50 I will still be back ordered...?

I think I want to get a 6060 for my 75.. I'm also wondering which waiting list I should get in. I'm not trying to get ahead of anybody, just trying to get an idea of the time frame here.

I couldn't say. I have been waiting for 2 6000's and a multicontroler since the first week of april. Roger could tell you what would be the shortest wait for sure.
