I would run (talking about rows, not lamps)Actinic in slot 2 and a Blue Plus in 6 12 hours a day as dusk/dawn.
Next I would do a blue Plus, Aquablue and another Blue Plus 11 Hours for daylight. (positions 1, 4 and 7
Then do 2 GE Daylights or a GE and a UVL Aquasun in 3 and 5 8~10 hours for noontime
What makes the Aquactinics better then the tek light that you recommend the Aquactinics? Is it because of the types of reflectors, fans, or just a better product in general? I will be using this on my 29 gal that is 30" long.

Grim,
a little confused. Would the total on bulbs be:
ATI Blue Plus - 6 bulbs (slots 6, 1, 7)
ATI 12000K Aquablue special - 2 bulbs (slot 4)
UVL 10000K Aquasun - 2 bulbs (slot 5)
GE 6500K Daylight - 2 bulbs (slot 3)
Any particular actinic bulb (superactinic, pure actinic, actinic plus)? - 2 bulbs (slot 2)
Thanks

hey grim i have decided to go with a 60" x 48" x 30" tank that way i can use 80 watt t5s and like u said ice cap 660 ballast so
it will over drive the bulbs a little. checked out the tek set ups looks good. tank is going to be in wall so will need to put the retros in a canopy suspended from the celling. would u make the canopy out of wood or steel? thought it might be a lil better in wood could paint the inside white for additional refection. u thought 14 bulbs would be enough which bulbs and in what order front to back would u use? and is 14 gonna cut it? tank will be 80% sps, clams also u can run 4 60" 80w bulbs on one ice cap 660 correct.....thanks grim reefer dude....
