1 Pro Color, 1 UVL Super Actinic, 1 UVL Aquasun, 1 ATI Aquablue and 4 ATI Blue Pluses. Set it up so you get a Actinic and Blue Plus (s) as your dusk/dawn.

I am currently working on a 48x36x24. I am entertaining the T-5's and would like to keep clams and SPS. Would IceCap retros be best? As well, I was looking at getting 8 bulbs. Would it be best going 48" left to right, or going 36" front to back squeezing in more bulbs (12)?
Would I just be better off getting the Aquanectics?
What lighting setup would you recommend?

I am finally about to get my new lighting fixtures for my tank. I have been on the wait list for two of the 10x54w powermodules since last summer. Now, it is bulb selection time! Currently I use 4x250w DE Phoenix 14k with 54w fiji purple supplementation. I'd like to capture the same color temp, which I am guessing is in the 15-20k range (the Phoenix bulbs are really blue). Here is what I was thinking for bulb combo:
4x blue+
2x fiji purple
2x aquablue special
1x 6500K daylight
1x pro color or 3000K
I wasn't planning to use any actinics. The BP's seem to induce quite a bit of fluorescence on their own and still have great PAR, for a bright blue bulb.
What do you think?

What would you suggest for a 120g (48x24x24)

Isn't that setup a bit too blue? Wouldn't swapping out one of the ATI blue plus for another ATI aquablue make it less blue and more par?

Grim,
I'm currently running the coralife 48" fixture with 2 150w MHs and the actinics. This is on my 90g reef that is 24" deep, prolly 20-21" to sand bed.
I feel this lighting is not really reaching the bottom to well and I was thinking of moving to T5s. What are 2-3 fixture options you would put on this tank? I currently have SPS at the top and everything else in the tank including clams. Things seem to be doing well, But I think they could do ALOT better.
The Aquactinics are nice, and the tek lighting doesn't seem to bad. I have no experience with T5s. I see you mention the constellation as a nice fixture, although it is a bit pricey. Looking for something a little less in cost.
Thank you

Using a Tek with the Azoo clamp on fan array fosters and smith sells would work OK.
