same for VHO's? I've been told those are more like 6 months, even though the estimated hours by most manufacturers (UVL for example) state T5 and VHO the same (4500 hours).

Hello, I current have the TEK 6x39W fixture over a 36x18x16 tank. I currently have.
pure actinic
blue plus
procolor
blue special
blue plus
pure actinic.

I keep sps, lps and zoas along with clams.

Im looking for suggestions in change some of the bulbs out for good par and nice colors.

I have a 125 gallon aquarium im planning to buy t-5 ho lights for it the tan is 72''x18''x22'' im no planning on spending alot no more than $600. What light do you recommend? im planning on sps doninated an 1 or 2 clams on the bottom. Thanks

Question for you Grim I am currently using a uvl 75/25 looking at the par readings the Blue plus out pars that bulb, looking to swap that out. Is there any reason I should keep that bulb in my combo besides for looks.

Also with your reading were you using reflectors.

Pull the pure actinics and replace them with a UVL Super Actinic and a ATI Aquablue

You better plan on buying a Aquactinics Constellation 72" T5 or an Ice Cap 6x80 watt retrofit from reefgeek no matter what the cost if you want SPS.

i just got my sfiligoi 12*80watt set-up and need help with what bulbs to use. i want my coral's color to pop. my tank is 72*24*30high with 250 lbs live rock mostly sps with lps. slow growth is fine. my lights now are sfiligoi xr4 2*400watt (xm20k) with 4 54watt T5. i just don't care for the MH. thanks for any help.

No reflectors.

The 75/25, ATI Pro Color and all the Actinics are aesthetic lamps, they dont add a lot to the PAR
