If you can get the lamps for the same price at the same place why not. That combo will be 20K strong blue but pretty bright. I'd move the Duo to the front, its a more blue version of a Aquablue so you are spreading your brighter lamps out more (Aquablue, DUO and Fiji.

I want to replace my MH with T5. The tank is 48"x 30"x 25". Will 8 T5 be enough? I was going to do 4 ATI Blue plus, 2 ATI Aqua Blue Special and 2 UVL 75.25.

You want the Fiji front of center. You want the red in the bulb to strike the viewing side of the corals.

Tank has SPS and softies with a few LPS

I would possibly go to 10 bulbs if you can. With 8 bulbs you are only at 20" and with 10 you get 25". That still leaves you a few inches in front and back so you aren't lighting the carpet.

Your combo looks pretty good. I would maybe look at adding either a UVL Actinic white or GE 6500K and an ATI Blue Plus for the last 2 bulbs.

No it doesn't. But the actinic white hits different spectrums to help bring out different colors in your corals. It is more of a pink bulb where the aquablue is white with a blue tint.

Hello Grim I am looking for a bulb combination for a 60x30x18 tall 8 bulbs, slr's, 54 watts. I really like the look of a bright 14k. What do you think of adding in 2 vho super actinics. The tank will be sps and zoa's only. Thank you for all the hard work. You help make this hobbie alot easier and enjoyable. I will add two more later if it is not enough spread

You could move the Aquablues into the middle more if you like but that should be a good starting point for you.

Any bulb combo suggestions for a 6 bulb setup over an sps tank. I just switched over from Phoenix bulbs on MH and can't quite get the crisp look I was hoping for. Not sure if it's the order or comination of bulbs. Tried the CoralPro but it was too pink. Ditch the 6500? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Use 5 Blue Plus and the Actinic White, I would grab an ATI Aquablue as a spare, that would allow you to brighten up the look just a little if you find 5 blues a little too subdued.

I would probably use 4 Blue plusses or 22K blues for dusk/dawn but what you listed is fine.
