The Time Is Finally Here...

I don't think I've ever been this excited about a season that I expected us to do so bad in:lol:

lol, me too! It's a brutal schedule even if we were 'up', but the attrition from coaching changes, injuries, bar fight, etc...
Some good news for the Ole Miss game is that Masoli is out.
Also, Justin Hunter is back. You seen his youtube videos? holy crap - dude was on the US Track and Field team, can dunk, and had some awesome scrimmages. He's like a pair of stilts with muscles and hands. Tauren Poole said: "He's incredible. He's going to be an All-American. I wish you all could see some of the plays he has made. It's insane." I've got high hopes for him, especially in goal line situations, you know, like catching field goals from the opposing team. :lol2:

Wait, aren't you a Vandy fan now? That's what Paul said... :fun4:

Nah if I was a Vandy fan I would be hoping for 2 wins not 6:lol:

Yeah that's great news about Hunter. I haven't seen those videos but I have heard the reports out of practice. Interesting they moved Williams to tackle today.

The Old Miss game definately looks more winnable now. I think they are still the favorite though.

I just hope we can make a bowl game and get this thing turned around in a couple of years:)

Chris

My new Home Theater will make this season even better! 120" screen should be interesting, my wife is ordering the ppv game this Sat. to test out the new set up.

Without McCluster, I don't expect too much out to the Rebels... We got a look at Stanley last year, and were not at all impressed. He was at least as bad as Snead. Maybe Coach Nutt can work some miracles.

Just wait for Tennis season:D.

I'd bet there will some beer drinking going on at this "meeting." haha!! Dont' think I'll be making it, so I want each one of you to drink an extra for me.

50-0! TN looked good, *but* that was an FBS school, first time we've played one since I was a wee 'un. Oregon hung 72-0 against a BCS school. Next week should be more 'competitive.'

Yikes, Gary. Masoli back. Up 31-10 at the half. Fans leaving to celebrate. Then losing 49-48 in double overtime on a 2-point conversion to an FBS school. That really has to hurt. As in, soul-crushing hurt.

And Florida's offense was worse than pathetic.

Nice first win for Dooley but I have a feeling the next few weeks for us are going to be brutal. We looked better than I thought we would.

Go Vols!!!

It always hurts to be an Ole Miss Rebel... Even when we win (like last year), they weren't well played games. As one of Jenn's friends on facebook put it (quoted from the Waterboy).

"Oh no. We suck again."

Stanley actually had a good game. I was impressed. They showed stats for Masoli on ESPN (maybe 100 yards, no TD's, 1 INT), but nothing for Stanley (at least 3 TD's). Oh well. There's always tennis season...

Well at least we had basketball for (mostly) good news that last few years:rolleyes:

I guess Bruce finally got frustrated trying to compete with whatever it is that Calimari....er,uh, Calipari does in recruiting:lol:

...of course I'm only half joking.

Another sad day in Volunteer land:(

Hope we can at least give the Ducks a run for the money tommorow.

Go Vols!!!
