The Bama game is going good so far, but what's the deal with our defense and the wild cat offense? They are not going to pass.
 
Special teams are killing us... Or our field goal unit to be specific... Monte had all 11 in the box last time they showed the wild-cat...
 
****ing great damn game... We were in it till the end... Kiffin should be damn coach of the year for the way he's getting our boys to play... We're going to be scary good once Kiff gets his boys in place... We'll be turning it around the rest of the season for sure... :)
 
i could cry. i just knew we were going to beat them. so so so close. awww....
it was a great game. a little heavy on penalties, but wow.
 
Crompton has finally arrived. We did everything we could except get it done in the end. At least it looks like we should finish strong and make it to a bowl game. I agree Randy we should be a force to contend with in a couple of years:D
 
I hate it that I missed the end of the game. I have heard all about it and saw the replays. So close. Good good game. Give us 2 more years, and we will be a force.
 
Great game... watched it at Ray's ESG... table next to us was a bunch of former UT players, including a few from '98.... they were a rowdy riot... Whole room was on their feet arms locked for that final field goal. It was a blas, but I saw the block coming, unfortunately.

Favorite part of the game: Commentator said: "If you told Kiffin before the game that he could have a 9-3 loss against Alabama and not have to play the game, he'd take that." I almost shot beer out of my nose; dude don't know coach. Kiffin would say "You mean we only have to score once to win?!?" He in fact said: "I don't believe in moral victories, we should have won that game," and paraphrase: "I can't wait until they come to our house next year."

I take it Randy is finally a Kiffin-convert? I know you had Fulmer's back and whatnot.
 
I had Fulmer's back, but I was always pro-Kiffin as well... :) I'm UT do or die, doesn't matter who the coach is... I support the team no matter what... ;)
 
Vols played awesome! I knew it would be close and said it could go either way before they playes. But then again it was a BAMA UT game!
 
Frustrating that Lincoln lost us 9 points. :(

You can bet that every team we play from here on out is going to try to block his kicks. He better be busting butt to get them higher!
 
Yeah, all he had to do was get 50% of his kicks (1 more) and we would have won. I still think that we will be great next year, and Kiffin should be coach of the year, regardless of the record.

Did anyone see that on Yahoo sports, both of the Titans quarterbacks were on the "Not" list?? That is bad. Meant to post that last week.
 
I bet VY starts this week... As much as I don't want to see the cry baby on the field, it probably is time for a change of pace... Anyone see that bs about Fisher wearing the Manning Jersey??? :rolleyes: Fisher is my man, but I know it didn't fly with the team...

And its not all Lincoln's fault... It was the line that couldn't hold Mount Cody back... :(
