The Time Is Finally Here...

Not that you care, but while you guys were crying over Lane and guardedly optimistic about Drooley, Georgia Tech beat both Duke and UNC on their own courts. :)

Not that you care but the last time I checked we were ranked higher than Duke, North Carolina or GT and we beat #1 Kansas on our own floor:D :D :D

I'd take beating Duke and UNC over beating Kansas and UT any time. ACC tournament tickets aren't the 4th most desirable tickets in American sports for no reason. The REAL rankings had Duke and UNC as #1 and #2 the week of January 4. :)

P.S. But UT did impress me by winning with 4 people on suspension -- I actually was pulling for them for the first time in a sporting event where they did not play Georgia.

I actually was pulling for them

Glad you're finally coming around... :lol2:

SEC doesn't have anything on the ACC when it comes to basketball, but it is a down year for the ACC, surely you'll admit that... UNC isn't what it was the last few years... They're playing a lot of freshman that are too busy playing for themselves instead of like a team... Reminds me of the Lady Vols last year...

I can't believe the Vols run though... I was worried about last night against Alabama, but they pulled out another W... :)

Vince is a pro-bowler??? I'm sorry, but I think that there are better more deserving QBs out there that could have gone. I mean, he got better, but I don't think he is up there with Manning, Rivers and Brady (AFC).

Young's not up there with them; that's why he's last on the list as an injury replacement. Who would you put before Young? Palmer? Roethlisburger? Flacco? Pennington? Culter? Maybe Young got the "most improved" award. :)

Shaub maybe, but I would have left it at Manning, Rivers and Brady. None of the others have been pro bowl material in my opinion, they just did Ok and pro bowlers excel. That's just my opinion. And Vince should get a most imporved award. That's my 1 cent.

Rivers' wife is expecting, so he declined the appearance. Brady & Roethlisberger are injured. That's why they had to bring Shaub & Young up.

We did better than I thought. We are ranked #9 for our recruits. We got a good QB and WR that may be able to contribute next year. Looking forward to the season-- oh wait, I will be at the U of Missouri who is ranked #21.

I'm happy with the class....ecstatic if I consider what I thought would happen 3 weeks ago. USC just hit #1 on Rivals.....not sure how I feel about that.

Talking recruiting.....

I'm with you Chris... I hope the NCAA comes down hard on USC...

He had a secondary violation the first week he was there... Its just a matter of time... And yes I am bitter...
