The THING SKIMMER is working for a year wit excellent performance, I will convert it to a ozone reactor with bio balls, my new project will be the cone skimmer....all 100% DIY includding the cone, heres the start

Good luck YF, and I'll keep an eye on the thread. It sounds like a really cool idea. I'm still not at all sold on the cone idea, but we'll see what you think once you've built one yourself since you build a ton of random stuff. I'm confused by the picture above, on the right side, *** is that? Also what pump are you going to use? I still haven't seen a recirc cone skimmer, so that'd be a cool idea.

You should really give www.polyfab.biz the proper credit for the formula you used in your first post....what you posted is straight from their website (minus all of the hand writing and "young frank" autographs)
