The water intake on my 6000's keeps getting clogged

The spokes on my 6000's keep getting clogged with algea which reduces the flow alot. I was thingking of cutting out every second spoke. Is this recomended?

Yes, i always recommend to cut one and skip one. It will work great and never have to worry about clogging....

What do you use to cut the spokes? I was thingking of using a jig saw or a hack saw blade.

At first i use the kitchen knife (the one with teeth) or you can use the sheer bone cutter from MD

Just keep in mind this increase the risk of damage to the prop.
