They're taking over!

What's the suggestion on fragging palys and zoas when you can't take the rock out of the tank? I have brown button polyps and green zoas taking over the tank.

I tried to grab the palys and they just get slimy! I tried to scrap them off and they just squirt their nasty slime all over the tank.

Any ideas?

If you have enough of those green/brown palys be careful as they can crash a tank with the amount of toxins they release. You will probably have to pull them out to get them off. You can see if you can get a screw driver or something simliar under the rock and kind of chisel them off.

Don't try and grab them, especially if you are not wearing gloves.

+1 or you can try your best under water with a razorblade. The key is to get down under them and cut through the mat that is attached to the rock.
