There's not too much that I wouldn't DIY.

Hey, I made a little stand for my 2.5 gallon with a brad nail gun and it's as sturdy as it would ever need to be. I definitely wouldn't do that with a tank any larger than that though.

How about DIY aquarium silicone?

Most frame guns use a "bump" style trigger and I can imagine some one falling of a roof or ladder, gripping the trigger tightly and bump,bump,bump...
