Think I figured out SPS...Knock on wood

So I battled for a few months with SPS and was about to give up the battle and go back to the easy stuff. Then I realized my water was way to clean, I was feeding my tank about 1/8th of what I should and my parameter swings were killing me. Heres the first of a few shots of the 3 month transformation I have had from bleached poor health sps to what I have today. Some are taking longer than others and some I didn't have any pics of so nothing to compare.

I will try to get some better before and after shots of some others that have made major recoveries.

Wow, she looks happy now! That is excellent growth in 3 months! If you have a workhorse skimmer and other filtration on your tank, feeding becomes very important to maintain nutrient rich water.

Thanks, I realized I have awesome filtration and needed to max out my feeding to compensate. I also started using Reef Chili a few times a week which has been great. I notice a difference if I forget a few days, less PE during day and color a touch off. These are horrible shots but about the same time frame, the bottle brush is showing awesome growth the last 2 months and the colors are really comong out of the chips acro and the purple green polyp valida

your pics look great though. I may need to go to that reef chili once I ever get my display back up and running. It is so frustrating having the display torn down, but so horrifying thinking about selling everything in the frag tank and starting over. Oh well. :)
