Started a new thread regarding my leaking tank. I sitting here at 12:30 listen to the water pouring out. I have buckets all around the tank and the dripping sounds like rain. I have stopped topping the tank with the water saved in buckets because it only makes it leak worse. Anyway, I'm trying to line up anyone who may be interested in any livestock, corals, and LR. Seriously considering giving the hobby a break for a bit. I know its Monday tomorrow and most are working, but if anyone is home it all may be going. Unless I have some relevation in my sleep (cant sleep) I will most likely be selling all L/S tomorrow. The tank still has flow and heat so unless the tank runs dry most of the corals and LR will be fine.
Fish: Purple Tang, Mimic Tang, Hippo Tang, 3 Perc clows hosting in my Torch Corals, Mystery Wrasse, Possum Wrasse, Royal Gramma, Africian Flameback Angel, Cleaner Shrimp, and Croacea Clam.
LR is mostly Marshall Island and Tonga. Most have corals and frags attached such as Pink Lemonade, Erics Candlelight, Purple Monster, Tyree Sunset Monti, Rainbow Montis, ORAs Red Planet, Borealis, pearlberry, too many others to list. Prices obviously will be better than reasonable. I live in Bayport and will need to sell them as fast as possible. If I decide not to sell all, I will post by 9AM. Sorry to hear this. Can't see anyway around a tank leak other then to break down the system or run out and get a couple of rubbermaid troughs to hold all livestock till you get a new tank.

I'm so sorry to hear about your leak. That really sucks. If you do decide to sell your corals, I am interested in the ORA Red Planet and the Pearlberry and possibly a few others. I live near you (Blue Point) and could come by tonight.

Its over. Threw in the towel around 3 am. Corels and fish now in rubbermaids bins. Can't believe the way that tank leaked. Not even a sign of a leak early Sunday. I have a few nice sized colonies, Leng Sy, ORA Chips, Purple Nana and many different frags.

I don't know how I'd handle a loss like that. I feel your pain. Could you provide a few details on your L/S? What size is your purple tang and what are you looking to get for him? If you could throw out a few prices for the corals I'd appreciate it.

Purple Tang is like 4-5" I'd guess. He's beautiful.
Guys if there is something ur looking 4 give a call. I have numorus frags. I would post list but I'm busy cleaning. As day goes on I hope to have more time.

Jim - Sorry for the horror show you just went through, but if I were you, I'd run out and buy another tank. Put everything back in it and wallah. If you need a hand let me know. You may lose a few things this way, but you'll keep most and still have a tank.

I know your in a bad place right now but are you going to try and find another tank? I have no problem holding your corals till you get set up. I'd hold your fish too but there's no way I could catch them in my system.

if you decide not to quit the hobby i can hold quite a few fish for you, i set up a 90G recently and have all a couple gobies in it and lots of space for corals. if not i will be interested in some LR i can come by today if you are available.

Well, it's 3:30 pm, 24 hrs after I decided to quit. I'm OK with the decision as I had a serious mess. I already have the tank out by the curb. Dont think the trash guysa will take it but we'll see. Almost all corals are gone. People got very good deals and bought more than expected. I stil have some nice LR sitting in heated water with flow. Mimic and Hippo, 3 clowns, and my Mystery Wrasse is MIA. I will keep L/S and L/R going a day or 2 more.

ok, heres the latest. the only 2 fish left are my mimic tang and my africian flameback. Someone has claimed LR so far. I will take a look at what sps are left and post as soon as i can. Thank everyone for their support, kind words and offers to house my l/s or give/loan a tank. If it didn't leak so bad I had every intention of rebuilding today, but that was not to be. Due to overwhelming demand I couldn't keep up with the phone calls especially with trying to breakdown and package up so many items.

Dex, I tried to call u back but couldn't hear your number.

Keith, the hippo is claimed if it falls through I'll pm u.

Sorry to say I found the other wrasse, bottom of the bucket which he kicked...
On the better side the live rock looks awesome, I finally have a real reef tank now. Tony's is very happy with all his corals and he says his tank looks awesome. I am going over to take a look shortly.
If you ever, no wait when you get your new tank and everything back up and running call me I am sure I'll have some frags for you.
