Thinking about a Pin Tail Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus CF Lanceolatus) )

Title says it all. I think I can get a female for 60$. Do you guys feel that is a good price? It would be from an LFS so no guarantee, and do you know how long approximately it would take to transition to a male? Any experiences with the fish would be amazing!
Edit: Feel free to try to talk me out of this. I'm still not sure on it. I think my DT size is big enough, but if it isn't in your opinion, feel free to say so!

tank size and other inhabitants would be useful in providing advice. It may or may not transition to male.

$60 is a good price.. you should give me the source so I'll buy it and save you the $60

These seem to be much more available now, and the prices have come down... $60 is good not great for female.
IME females almost always transition to males, but it may be because I have a lot of wrasses (30-40 in tank of 70-80 fish)

As of right now, I have a solorensis wrasse in Qt. Those two will probably be the only wrasses, perhaps a mccoskers. As of right now the tank is filling and is going to be cycling. I was just thinking what my next fish would be.

Edit: oopsie forgot tank size
Tank is a 75 gal standard with a 20L sump

I have not even seen the fish yet, the LFS ordered me one. Do you think I can haggle the price down? What would you say a great price would be?

Any instances where a Cirrahbulus sp. didn't transition? I know if there is a harem, one will go supermale but if I only have the single is there anything I can do to hurry the process up? I'm willing to let nature take its course too!

Having another fairy wrasse should do the trick.

Kept singly or with other fairy wrasses, as long as it is well fed and disease free, it should begin to transition within a few months.
