Like the title says im thinking about buying one of these. any special care info I should know? Flow, Light? I have a 250 watt evc 14k mh is that ok or too bright? The tank is a 37 gal column tank 24" tall.

Flow should be moderate, not too intense. Your lighting is plenty if you put the coral about midway. Id start it about midway and adjust accordingly. Just keep your alkalinity and calcium in check and everything should be good to go. You can spot feed them a mysis shrimp on occasion.

cool thanks. I was reading about them on marine depot and a couple other sites. they have a frag of each at my lfs so i was thinking about picking one up.

Give other corals space, I had a torch wipe out a zoo frag and a Yuma because I left it a little to close for a little to long.

How close. the spot that i was going to put it is about 4-6 inches away from my zoa's. I could put it in another spot but i kinda wanted it in that spot.

my frogspawn (4 large heads) produces sweeper tentacles that are about 2" longer than the longest other tentacle. I would keep a 4-6" space to be safe.

Torch are very aggressive but frogspawn are not ime. Get the branching kind and then frag it to trade for more varieties of frogspawn,
