Thinking about clowns

I've had clowns in the past and i've never had good luck with them. Im really not sure why but I've lost 2 and decided they are not for me.

I recently setup a nano tank and was thinking about going for it again. In the past they would die within a few days to a week so i was thinking it was my source.

I found a pair of Snowflake clowns for $100 they arrived at the store last week. how long would you wait to make sure they are okay? they are eating.

in my opinion , I don't think you can have a saltwater reef tank without a pair of clowns. It just doesn't look right to me. It's kind of an oxymoron if you ask me. I would wait a week or two and just observe them to make sure there are no noticeable issues that you can see. THEN, I would put them through a QT of about 6 weeks and do a treatment of prazipro in the process. Again, just my opinion and others may agree or disagree.
Don't forget to temp acclimate them and make sure salinity is within .001 or .002

I feel the same way, clowns got me into the hobby. what are the clowns in your profile pic. they are cool looking.
