You bet your sweet a$$ you better order Live Rock from Premium Aquatics!
Jeremy,
Rock arrived around 10:00am today in great condition. I've got to say it was packaged very well. Even after 2 days shipping each rock was individually wrapped in wet paper...and yes it was still wet...very little rubble, no broken pieces and seems like very little die off.
I rushed it home and after a quick plung in fresh Saltwater I placed directly in my new tank. My aquascaping is not exactly what we discussed but the rock is fantastic...the shapes are incredible, good corraline coverage for semi cured rock. You chose just the right sizes and shapes. I love the way it turned out...you were right on the amount...90lbs seems to be about perfect. The knobby shapes of the Marshall Island rock allows you to stack it very easily.
Plus I have discovered a crab hitchhiker...not sure what kind...2 worms (bristle worm and something that looked like a night crawler..went directly into sand) and a few tiny snails....just in the first few hours of being in the tank. Not to mention several micro algeas...not sure about long term survival but there are some pieces that look very good.
I was a little unsure about ordering Live Rock from the internet. I've been burned once before...but read lots of good comments about PA/Jeremy and everytime someone posted that they had just received Live Rock from PA I quickly requested pics and was usually impressed.
So, I picked up the phone and called Jeremy..he suggested the Marshall Island Cured and around 90lbs for my 75gal tank....then he proceeded to go out to the warehouse and check the live rock...looking for sizes, shapes and colors...all the time discussing possible aquascaping ideas and plans. He then suggested that maybe I should just order the uncured saving .50/lb because it was close to being cured anyway and why not save a few bucks...Wow! Where are you going to get personalized customer service like that? Where?
Anyway, Jeremy thanks for the awesome rock, great job...you have gained another loyal customer. Oh yeah, thanks for the replacement PH Probe...it works perfectly.
And now the pics
