Thinking of adding a Racoon

I have never concidered adding a Butterfly to my reef until now,
i Have a major Manjano prob and a Flatworm issue.
These pests are getting me down now and im at my last resort.
I am going to add FWexit next weekend as a last resort to get rid of them,and once the tank is stable again im thinking of adding a Racoon to clear up the manjanos.
I know i will be sacrificing my zoas but i have no choice.

any ideas before i undergo this and experiences with either will be greatly appreciated.

I tried to add some zoo's, mushrooms to my tank and my Raccoon destroyed one whole rock of Button poyps and ate quite a few mushrooms...I set up another tank to salvage the rest.....Not a good Reef fish!!

Mine is my favorite fish though...he's in a FOWLR

For your manjanos I would add a copperband or a close relative. As for your flatworm problem i would use a reef safe wrasse of some sort like a 6 line, mystery or leopard.

Yeah i agree i wouldnt dare add a raccoon to your reef. If you do add a copperband make sure its eating first cause once in sovles your problem if it dosent prepared foods it will just starve to death.

I haven't ever heard that CBB will eat majano...only aptasia, and that's even hit or miss. Flatworm populations wax and wane with nutrients. I wouldn't worry too much about them unless they are literally carpeting your corals and blocking out their light. Just MO/E.
