Thinking of upgrading to Marineland Deep Dimensions System

Hello,

I'm thinking of upgrading to either the 250 or 300 gallon Marineland deep dimensions system from my current standard 125 gallon fowlr.

My questions are:
1. are these high quality setups (tank, furniture, overflow, etc.)?
2. Any specific problems people have found?
3. Any superior systems out there?
4. where have people bought them from?

I am also very interested in the same set up especially the 300 DD! I asume you have seen the video on their website, it looks like an almost complete system. I especially like the 72 inch combo halide, fluroescent and LED light fixture so I hope you get alot of useful feed back from the pros on here. I'll be watching. thanks, mark

i like the light, except they show to only be 150W lights... thats not enough for a SPS reef...
is there any updates or changes to show 250's?

I was researching buying a glasscages tank recently, and looking at the threads in there. A debate was ongoing regarding whether GC tanks were crap or not. One of the points made was that the poster had seen 3 different threads where DD tanks had come apart.

I have no experience with the DD tanks (they're the wrong shape for my house) but thought I'd pass it on. Hate for you to be the 4th - perhaps there's some tips on why in the other threads, but I didn't read them to find out...
