This carpet look ok?

I have a new T5 setup, 48x6 (3 &3).
No, I didn't acclimate it to the lights, yikes! I do have eggcrate on top, that might diffused some?
I thought these liked extreme light?

Sure it is T5s? 4 foot T5s are 54 watts.

Eggcrate does little to block the light, need to put some window screening ontop of the eggcrate -- between the tank and the lights.

While Haddonis (( and most hosting anemones )) can handle high lighting, they need to be acclimated to it.

All of mine are under 250 watts of HM (( 1*250 for my 33 cube, and 2*250 [ plus supplemental ] for my 58 and 75 )), but I had to acclimate them to those lights.

Yes Todd, sorry about that...Nova Extreme pro 48"...6 bulbs T5 HO.
Should I get the screen and place it on top now, or too late you think?
Here I was worried about it being halfway under a ledge!

Better late then never. So, I would try to put the screening in place as soon as you can.

So it has moved from the first picture? If it is "hiding" more, I really feel that it is because of the lights.

Yes, it has, about 3-4 inches over, more underneath a ledge of rock.
I'll go get some screen here afterwhile and give it a try.
Truly appreciate the help!
THis guy is a beauty and I want it to flourish!

Oops, do I have to cover the entire tank, or would just the larger section in which it is under be alright?

Ideally the whole tank -- I have never had any issues with existing corals. But, if all you can do is a larger section, that will work too, just make sure it doesn't move out of that section.

Mine can be tempermental at times as well, so don't get too excited yet. Parameters alright? How is the flow in your tank? Have you tried feeding him some krill or mysis and is he still "extremely sticky"? Has he moved? Nice anemone too

Sorta of Todd, with the holiday and all I didn't get the actua; screen, but I did cross section/tilt or whatnot 3 layers of eggcrate over it and that is seemingly blocking lots of the light there.
He has went deeper under rocks now, harder to see his mouth, below is a pic from a few minutes ago.
His color looks better than the day when it was fading, but man is he shrinking and not extending. Stickiness last night was not good. I don't want to keep agitating him by feeling him.
I am working on lowering my nitrates.

He doesn't look too terribly bad. Continue to lower your nitrates and maintain a consitent system and he should be ok. I'd be more concerned when he starts to show a gaping mouth and completely closes up, looses his ability to capture his food etc.

I think the same thing is happening to my Purple LTA. I didn't acclimate to the lights really, just because they're still on a 4 hour light schedule (just upgraded the whole system lighting).. Guess I should use window screening or similar.

Good luck with your Haddoni, Scooterguitar. Looks like a beauty.

Uh, oh just found him like this! What in the world? DId he maybe catch and is eating a fish or something? Time to go fish hunting...

Sorry for your loss. Small fish that are poor swimmers like Blinnie's really aren't much of a match for a haddoni. If you get rid of it, please find it a good home. It's not the anemones fault that your fish is dead. These things happen when we place large predators in little glass boxes with small defenseless prey.

Why get rid of him? It wont get your blennie back. I had a carpet, loved it, but he tried to fight a k4 and lost. I didnt get rid of the k4 because of it.

100% normal for some carpets to eat fish. I would keep the nem as well, but would start another tank if fish consumption is a concern.
