this is weird!

ive never owned a clam, but the research i remember showed pics of the little white snails. all of the sudden, 2.5 year old tank has an outbreak of them.
could they have been dormant all this time? temp stays @ 80F - 81F.

they may not be pyram snails (but there are over 8000 species of them). you probably have harmless rissiod snails.

12/07 the tank will be 3 yrs old. why now the sudden breakout? thats what has me any suggestions/explainations?

they could have been there the whole time and you just now saw them, or you could have introduced them a few months back and the population just grew
