This months ORCA meeting will be Saturday, February 23rd.

This month’s meeting features a special guest speaker presentation by Justin Zimmerman, ORCA member and SeaWorld Aquarist.
Presenting: Coral Sex! Project SECORE, Coral Reproduction in Aquariums.

Learn about the fascinating world or coral reproduction in the wild how it relates to you and your home aquarium. Through photographs, travel with the SECORE team of Professional Aquarists to Puerto Rico for the annual Acropora Palmata spawn. Discover methods used to successfully raise the delicate coral larvae to adulthood!

Can these methods be used to help play a role in aquaculture or restoring the threatened coral reefs? Come find out on February 23rd.

crap...sorry guys...We were not able to make it today...:(

I spent 4hrs in my tank setting up my nano, water changes and splitting my rock in half with all the star polyps on it...finally got them isolated so I don't have to worry about the spread to my other rocks...
