that's a lavender??
I check liveaqauria and google image and never saw those pics...
the pics that resemble that was name a DUssumier Tang...
I'm confused now!

Fowleri & lavender are both stunning tangs, but long term, both will quickly out grow that absolutely beautiful 150 you have.

Mustards are cool and different.

How about a spotted cheek? Not quite as rare and still not so typical a tang.

Look again. These just happened to be the prettiest pics I found on them. Dussimeri tangs are clearly different looking from them and they get bigger than Fowleris. My previous Lavender I had was housed with a blonde naso. He was very peaceful.

According to LiveAquaria, Lavender's maximum size is 8". So Josee, it would be perfect for your tank.

Congrats on the new inhabitant. When I got mine it was just over 2 1/2" and still sporting the juvi colors which are more of a deep navy blue and very short lived before it adopted the adult coloration. Best of luck with him er her ... it.
