Those with Copperbands and Zebrasoma Tangs...

Seems like the aggression has died down on the Black Tang's front.

I've only seen him rush the CBB once, but it really wasn't more than he'd do to the Yellow Tang.

The CBB still keeps to the right of the tank, but isn't in the corner. He's mostly in a little cave area or around the mid level rocks.

He won't rush the food when it's put in the tank, but will pick at it on the rock work.

Guess it's "improvement"???

I tried a CBB with a kole and a yellow tang. Kole was the aggressive one and kept the CBB in a corner of tank for a week. But after that they went alone fine. After decimating my pods, CBB never eat anything than live and very active brine. Nothing else - I tried all tricks with clams and perforated tubes and all frozen bugs and worms it was possible to buy - didnt moved, is not food. Perished in 2-3 months.
Then I tried an easier LongNose Butterfly, but the yellow tang became crazier than a bull and byte poor LN continuously. After couple of hours I took him out and back to shop.
Normally my yellow tang is very nice and docile, but I saw his dark side. Will never add a yellow flat fish in my tank.

CBB ate some mysis this morning, so I guess that's a good sign.

He's still super shy and retreats when the Black Tang is around.

I haven't really seen any aggression, but I'm keeping the mirror close by ;)

The CBB is getting more adventurous.

He will eat now, but isn't super aggressive and pretty timid.

I haven't seen the Black Tang rush him in forever as well.

He doesn't really go to the top corner anymore, mostly sticks to the rockwork on the right hand side.

Today during morning feeding:

Everything seems to be going fine.

The Black and Yellow Tangs have been around the CBB and I really haven't seen any aggression.

Seemed like the big mirror trick worked. It makes me less nervous about adding more tangs down the line.

The CBB still keeps to the right of the tank and is a shy eater. He is getting a bit more aggressive though during feedings.

That is how my copperband was. Slowly expanded his territory until eventually he went anywhere. But it took a long time.
