Hey all, been under the impression that my G.Chiragra has been in his burough for the past week or so due to a molt, but just saw him and he doesnt appear to be molting but rather one of his appendages is white/grey at the end, havent done any research into this yet just thought I'd ask if that is a common trait in the molting process or is there some type of degenerative problem going on here? Its a nano reef tank so minerals/supplements are in check, all chemical readings in check, and yes I do dose with iodine, but 1/4 the dosage.
Cheers, Brian

I guess I should point out that the white spot on his appendage is not the normal coloration, nor the merel spots. Oh and I dose with minor amounts of iodine to help small corals in the tank, not encourage molting.
Cheers,
Brian

Ill try to snap a pic but he's pretty reclusive lately. My best chances are when I get home from work, dont turn on the lights, and stealthily move (such as a ninja..yes thats right Im like a ninja lol) to the tank. So anyway Ill give it a shot.
Cheers,
Brian
