Are my clowns hosting in my Sinularia? I have had the sinularia for 2 1/2 years/ the clowns 2 years. Tonight, my Sinularia (closd up fro the night-the size of a small melon/12 inches wide when fully open during the day. It has 5 stalks, 7 inches high) seems to be hosting my smaller Perc. He stays inside for a quite a while instead of the usual sleeping up at the surface. The other Clown (female I imagine) now has been coming down at the bottom of the stalk and hanging out at the opening. When the male comes out, he wiggles and flutters at the base, and seems so strange! They seem to have a love affair with the coral now. It is so cool. They act like little kids playing hide and seek. Is this now a hosting scenario? Almost seems like a pair of birds nesting....I am curious what will happen in the morning when the coral opens up.
Thought I would share, I never thought I would see this behavior.
