Thoughts experiences w/ the Yellow Belly Tang?

Aka "Regal Tang" - DFS says they're easy & peaceful - I'm interested in a tiny one & I'd have it in QT w/ a Mertensii who is also 1" ... Just thinking out loud. My plan would be to keep it 3-4" & then trade it in to the LFS ... DT is a 150 fowlr

Easy, maybe they are very prone to ich so with a proper QT you should be fine. Why get the fish to raise it for months just to trade it back in?

Don't get the tang. If you can't keep it in the tank you have for its entire life then wait until you have the tank that can. Not to bash you, or anyone in particular, but what is the point of getting a fish knowing you'll get rid of it in the not so distant future?

Hmm to be honest, 2 things - I like raising juvis & after a while I like to raise different species of fish. Kinda like a seeing eye thing to me ...

Anyway, I guess I hijacked my own thread - I really wanted to see if anyone owned tiny Yellow Bellied Hippos & what their experiences were with them, such as when did it develop it's yellow ...? I like your butterfly btw
