Thoughts on Ick

I'm wondering the thoughts of this forum here.In Spottes CSF he comments that "parasites"<-----note not ick)can be contaminents of raw seafoods.Im wondering if anyone has any knowledge on weather ick is what he refers to,or if this even possible?
