I've been aquascaping for hours.. I can't come up with anything that I like or that I'm in love with. so far, this is what I have. I've read the large article on aquascaping that's been referred to lots of times... but I'm not all that artistic. this is the only one I don't just hate. let me know!

I'm partial to the "islands" for 2 reasons: 1) little to no gluing, and 2) more placement for corals.

please let me know your thoughts.

thank you

lol. sorry bout the pic being upside down! idk why it came out like that. it wasn't like that when I took it!

I was just thinking the glue won't hold for too long.

Sorry, but the pic is upside down. :)

The aquascape is very nice, but doesnt allow for the water to stay in the tank.

Ok joking aside, I think it looks really good and gives lots spots to place corals easily, holes for fish and current to go through, nice bridges. I think it would fill in very nicely

Here ya go, right side up =)

Personally and just becaused you asked, as the most important thing is that you like it.

I would offer up to place those rocks in the middle on the upper left side. Give you two islands of different heights. It will give you a spot to place corals that like a lot of light, and displacing the islands a bit will give it a more natural look to me, as well as being aesthetically pleasing.

Just because you asked though.

Hope that Helps.

I think you should totally ignore your overflow as it will be seen no matter what - pretend it doesn't matter basically. Two separate islands of differing height as pledosophy stated with a clear gap between will look very pleasing to your eye. Using a few plastic cable ties and some epoxy putty will let you create much better scapes than stacking alone so why not have a try - you will be surprised at what you can achieve. All the best and look forward to the tank righting itself at some point in the near future lol. Will be following your build from now on :)

I went with 2 islands in my 75, one slightly larger than the other to draw the eye away from the corner overflow.
