Hey gang...Mel tells me we may have our first one on Tuesday...so I'm prepping. About 5 or 6 of us last year had a blast chatting with each other during the storms...while I painted...this is one of the pieces that came from one of those evenings...Thunder Willow. It now belongs to Twin and his wife.

was at the doctors....came out...lightning...thunder and then the downpour...i didn't move. Just stood there and literally "soaked it all in". Here's to many, many more of these!
 
Agreed. Was standing outside enjoying the still, humid, warm foggy air until a skunk came wandering over from the neighbor's house. Everyone is now safely tucked inside for the rest of the evening. lol
 
sat on the porch for the last hour...loving the moisture in the air...such a silky feeling...and looking at the shoots on the Willow...which is twice the size it was last year....
 
locked up in the theater with a bunch of actors that don't know their lines.....GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. i'm on beer number 2...on an empty stomach...trying to kill the pain of tonite's rehearsal.....did i mention....GAAAAAAAAAAAAA????

sitting on porch now...looking at a coffin....thinkin'...W..T..F..???
 
waiting.........................................................my willow tree in the front yard has leaves...anytime now.....
 
some amazing storms this past week. thunder clapping so loud the windows shook...hail...winds...wonderous bolts of lightning...hope you all enjoyed!
