His ocellaris are huge. He feeds them twice a day while maintaining a pristine reef tank with pc lights and hard and soft corals, and of course, other fish. No sump, no refugium, it's an all in one tank. He replaced the bioballs with live rock, has a protein skimmer back there, and plenty of flow. He has a schedule of additives, and he changes water regularly.

I think he is also lucky.

Well, big parents = big offspring?, lots of offsping?, LOTS of BIG offspring? I guess well see.

My pair isn't that big yet, but they are well on their way to huge nests. I haven't counted, but I would guess 600+ in a nest. Possibly more; they are hard to tell distinct eggs until about day 3, and by them some are gone, I think.

The current nest covers about 1/4 of a 4" clay pot bottom.

The female is about 3, I think, and the male about 2 1/2 years old.

im trying to breed cinnamon clowns at the moment.just been reading and looking at the pics.amazing.congrats to you all and i hope ur success continues.i will let u know when the times right and tap u all up for some help too if u dont mind.

i did manage to breed lysmata shrimp once but despite trying everything i could and following advice i couldnt get them past 29 days.
