Sorry Tigah, I hate to ask you again,but i am going to be setting up a small tank like yours for SH's. Are those h. kudas the same as Mustangs? If not, do you have alink to the OR website that shows the kudas?

I followed some of your threads on nano-reef for some time. I must say, your attention to detail is what really gave me respect for your setups. By the way thank you for the plumbing information. That is one area where I have little experience and your information has been really helpful and reassuring.

Earlier in this thread you mentioned that you were going to upgrade your quite one pump. Do you have any suggestions? I need a return that will allow me to have around 500gph at a 3 foot height.

I got a Gen X submersible GX2400 (pretty cheap pump) from customaquatic.com since it was the only submersible that I saw w/ around 450gph at 3 foot head (sound right up your alley).

But if you can use an external pump as return, I highly recommend PanWorld/Blueline pumps! I have them on my holding/prop tanks and they are powerful yet quiet.

Website is making progress...but at a snail's pace right now since I have a bunch of other projects I'm workin on at the moment. Hopefully it will be out by X-mas. =)

Tigah- how often are you feeding the kudas, and at what temp do you have your tank at?

i feed 6 days a week. I keep my tank temp at 79-80.
