Tiger Cowrie

I bought some stuff today & was erroneously assured that the cowrie was 100% reef safe & herbavorous. I was a little skeptical but it is a real beauty. So I brought it home. looked it up & sho-nuff, it looks to me like a tiger cowrie. Anyone interested in a gorgeous 3"er? Trade for an easy frag of something bright or some other easy invert? There really isnt enough in my sump to satisfy the appetite of one this big for very long.

How would it get on with a fighting conch?

Just fine I would presume. realize that originally I had this up there as a tiger conch, not a tiger cowrie. this is a cowrie! I had a brain cramp when originally posting this. My concern is that it might eat zoanthids or sponge in my tank which is why this gorgeous creature is un the sump

Okay. I would have the same issue with it munching corals, etc. Hopefully someone will want it but it sounds like I will have the same issues as you. Too bad.
