Tiger Wardi or Yellow Watchman?

I have had trouble adding any small bottom dwellers over he past year. I tried a 1" YWG, a 1-1/2" Orange Spotted Prawn Goby and a 1-1/2" Flame Blenny and all of them disappeared between 1 - 30 days. There is a rid around the tank and I even checked the area and found no bodies. I believe that something may have eatten them. Possibly my CBS, which I've had for 4 years.

My LFS has a 3-1/2" YWG and a 3-1/2" Tiger Wardi. I've had smaller bottom dwellers before, but none have survived in the past year. I only added LR in small amounts, so there are no Mantis.

Tiger Wardi: I know they are of the sleeper variety and considered sand sifters. I don't see much information on this species, mostly just the Yellow Head Sleepers and the Diamond Goby. Are these guys the same as them. Will they can a sand storm, I have fine sand up to large grain argonite. Plus, will they get from the water column or just eat from the sand?

Yellow Watchman Goby: Would a larger one be able to survive with a CBS? The one I've looking at had a body diameter of about 1/2", so it shouldn't be able to eat it. It doesn't harm my Azure Damsel, which is only 1-1/2" overall and sleeps in the rocks. Also, will these guys come out to eat or just sit there and wait for food to float by?

I'd like another bottom dweller, but don't want to see another fish disappear or have to spot feed. Do you think either of these guys would be OK or at risk?

Stenopus hispidusOlivier 1811, the Coral Banded Boxing Shrimp. Worldwide tropical distribution. Males smaller, more slender than females. Keep in reef settings with a cave of their own. May consume small fishes, other crustaceans. Eat most all meaty foods. In captivity and N. Sulawesi.

Sorry to say there is high probability that your fish were eaten :(

I imagine the Wardii could throw sand just like others of the Valenciennea genus. These fish will eat from the water column and the sand.
