Last Saturday I got 2 Tigertail Cucumbers to help keep the ground and rocks of my 100 gal tank clean.
One went straight for the rocks and settled down in the middle of the tank. I can see it there and it seems it started doing its work.
The other one was motionless sitting in the front at first. Then my larger Sumatra regal showed interest in it and started picking on its spikes. I had to chase him away. When I later checked the cucumber was gone and could nowhere be found. I know that they can turn themselves into a balloon and float away, but this guy seems to have pulled a real Houdini.
Do these guys leave the ground to hide in the rocks?
