Tigger pods?

so i FINALLY set up a small 5gallonish sump for my 75, (i have a really stupid stand that has 3 different sections, so i cant fit anything bigger) and i managed to fit a "fuge" in it. so far i have a ball of cheato, some caulepera? i think, and some rock. so my first question is should i take the rocks out and just leave lots of room for the cheato to grow?

second question: where do i get the pods?!? i know they sell the tigger pods should a buy a bottle or 2 of those? my "fuge" is right where the water drains from the tank, so its pretty high flow and no sand. is that even suitable for growing pods?

Tigger pods have not been proven to grow in a tank, I have dumped numerous bottles in my fuge and never see them. They are a colder water species (grown in california ponds I believe) They are good to feed mandrins but can not be expected to live and reproduce from my experience. ORA sells reef pods but to be honest all you have to do is add live rock and wait they come :) If you are in a rush the reef pods are the way to go IMO. You can also look in my reef system and grab a few amphipods for free.

thanks for the input, good thing too because i was thinking about buying a few bottles, lol i will probably be by later today, i want to buy some premixed salt water since im too lazy to make my own lol

Great news DT's just announced live pods of a carribean species to be out real soon. Decent price point as well. I have been asking them for pods for quite some time now.

Hey let me know when you get them. I went into your store to fish some out of your tank but to no avail. Maybe was too late in the day.
