Time for new M/H bulbs.looking for IDEAS?

Like it says its time for me to replace my 250w M/H bulbs & with all the changes in the last couple of years Im looking for what everybody else is using these days & is it working for you? Thanks in advance peeps.:lolspin:

In the 250 W SE I still love the UShio 10ks best bulb in that wattage and config IMO feel free to come over and take a look if you want.

I am thinking of changing mine to and gt rid of my light i think it is to much for my tank. i have a dual 400 double ended mh with four t5 and moon lights I am thinking of selling and upgrading or maybe its down grading to all t5's!

On my SPS tank I run SE 400W Radiums and on my LPS tank I run DE 250W Phoenix. I love them both, differently.

What are you looking for SE or DE?

I do but the combination of my photo skills and the computer screen nothing really actually look like they do in person. Your more than welcome to stop over and check out my tank if you want. Im home all the time with no job, out near the airport though. I do have a par of 500 on my sandbed with dual 250 radiums.

One of our club members down here in the Springs used the Aquamaxx and after about 3 months the colors shifted on him, way out of spectrum. This happened on both his bulbs.

I run 2x250W radiums over a 90g and it gives great color and growth. They start out a little whiter than I would like, but when they "burn in" the color is great. IMO. I purchase mine from reef specialty for $71.95 each including shipping. Here is the link:
